FAQ

Most frequent questions and answers

First, we don’t diagnose and treat disease. We manage your health, NOT your sickness. We want you to live a symptom free life as much as possible so we work on optimizing your health, not managing your disease or condition. So we are not your doctor. We are your mentors. We educate and guide you on the lifestyle changes that will help eliminate your body’s dysfunction and optimize your wellness.

We spend a lot more time with you than conventional doctors do. We take the time to listen to your story and adapt your wellness plan as needed so you can achieve your goals.  Our initial evaluations typically take 1 1/2 hours. Our follow ups can range from 20-60 minutes.

Second, we do lots of detective work to find the root cause of your condition. We don’t just cover up your symptoms, we take a thorough history and recommend labs we can use to help educate you on the state of your health .

Third, we develop our wellness plans to fit your individual case. Clients may have the same diagnosis or symptoms, but that doesn’t mean they will have success with the same wellness plan. So we take a holistic approach to your wellness. It’s not ‘one-size-fits-all’.

Fourth, we have different natural therapies that are successful! So no need for invasive treatments or prescriptions here. Of course, some situations are best treated with conventional methods and we refer you to conventional professionals as needed in those cases.

Fifth, we focus a lot on disease prevention. You don’t have to be sick to see us!  We want you to have optimal wellness & longevity so we educate and mentor you on nutrition and lifestyle habits that will keep you healthy long term. Contact us for more information.

We found that insurance is very limiting and does not allow the time needed to help you understand your condition, educate you and empower you to get better long term.  This is why conventional doctors only spend about 10 minutes with you. That’s long enough to find out what your symptoms are and write you a prescription.

We provide therapies to help prevent disease and promote health which will improve your quality of life. Unfortunately at this time,  insurance does not cover those services.

You should expect everything that you’ve been looking for! There’s no script with us.  We care about you and we listen to your wellness journey.

Before your first session, you will be required to complete paperwork for your evaluation. Your first session will be lengthy, usually 60-90 minutes depending on the complexity of your case. We spend that time discussing the details of your health and your goals. We ask lots of questions as part of our search for the cause of your dysfunction (symptoms) and to help with being proactive against disease. Towards the end of the visit, we discuss your recommended program which may include lab orders, nutrition or stress management, and other natural therapies.

At your follow-up sessions, we educate you on the results from labs, progress since your last visit, and update your wellness plan accordingly. The follow-up visits are much shorter and usually last 20-30 minutes.

We expect to see you often as you progress to optimal wellness because you can’t get better in just a few visits. Remember, we treat you as a whole person and that takes time. Therefore, we require our clients to commit themselves to the process.

Telehealth is the deliverance of health related information and services using telecommunications technologies like mobile phones & secure video.

You get the same quality care that we would provide in-person. However, our relationship is not doctor-patient. We are your mentor, so the relationship is mentor-mentee, as we partner with you on your journey to wellness.

You must have a primary care doctor or specialist in your local area to oversee your care while we educate & mentor you on natural support. It’s important to have a local doctor because you may need physical exams, imaging, or medicine that we can’t provide virtually.

We start working with you immediately once you sign up. It may take a few weeks for you to complete labs and receive any needed supplements.

After that, it’s totally dependent on how much effort you put into the wellness plan. Also, the way your body responds to the changes you make can affect how long it takes for you to feel better.  Most clients start to feel some relief within 3-6 weeks and will continue to get better.

Holistic programs are individualized to fit your specific needs. We base your program on the information you provide during your evaluation.  So we don’t know the exact cost for your program until we evaluate your case.

Don’t worry though, we work with people in different financial situations including single parents, retired, limited income and more!

We also offer Sliding Scale Fee Discounts for those who qualify, so if you are in need, then ask us about it during your Discovery Call.
